Gianni Parente

Managing Partner

Mr. Parente is the Managing Partner and founder of Turio Residential Company (“Turio”). He is responsible for deal sourcing, capital raising, and executing business plans across the company’s current investments.

Prior to founding Turio, was a Managing Director at EQT Real Estate’s Multifamily division, where he managed investment activities and helped to manage operations for Construction and Development Management. With deep expertise in sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, and execution, he successfully led both acquisitions of existing assets and the development of new construction projects.

Mr. Parente joined EQT Real Estate in 2016, when it was still Exeter Property Group, to help launch the firm’s multifamily division. Since then, he has been instrumental in driving the firm’s growth, having sourced, underwritten, acquired, and managed approximately $750 million in multifamily investments.

Before joining Exeter Property Group, he worked at Resource Real Estate (acquired by Blackstone), where he led underwriting and due diligence efforts on new multifamily investment opportunities, contributing to multiple acquisitions with a total value exceeding $800 million.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Parente served as a financial analyst at Bill and Melinda Gates Investments (BMGI), where he focused on farm and agricultural investments across the Southeastern United States. Mr. Parente graduated with honors from Cornell University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Economics and Management. He is an active member of both the National Multifamily Housing Council and the Urban Land Institute.
